How to take part

Contest format & log submission

Follow the operating details and send a copy of your log to QARL after the contest.

Contest period

The Lake City Contest runs for one day, from 5:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Band & modes

Operate on the 40-metre band. Stations may contact one another using Phone or CW.

Contacts & points

Only one contact with each station is allowed, using either mode. Each contact earns one point.

SWL entries

Shortwave listeners can participate by logging the contacts of amateur stations during the contest period.
