Ham Fair is held each year in Kollam around the nearest Sunday to 18 April, celebrating world amateur radio. The gathering includes seminars, an exhibition and opportunities to buy and sell electronic equipment and radio accessories. It is a friendly place to meet operators, exchange knowledge and discover more about the hobby.

The HF contest is held during the second Saturday and Sunday of March. Winners receive the VU2MAH rolling shields, gifts and certificates.
The fox hunt takes place at different locations in Kerala before Ham Fair. Winners receive VU2CSD rolling shields, certificates and cash prizes.
