We are a vibrant community of amateur radio enthusiasts dedicated to promoting the hobby and serving our community. Founded in 1982, QARL has been at the forefront of amateur radio in Kerala, India.
Our Mission
Our mission is to:
• Promote amateur radio and its benefits to the community
• Encourage and support individuals in obtaining their Ham Radio license
• Provide expertise and resources for community service and emergency communication
• Foster a spirit of camaraderie and knowledge-sharing among Ham operators
Our Activities
We regularly host:
• Monthly meetings for members to share knowledge and experiences
• Informal gatherings for socializing and networking
• Participation in Field Day and Ham Fair, annual amateur radio exercises that bring together operators from across the region
Our Infrastructure
We operate:
• A voice repeater, funded by generous donations from Hams and well-wishers
• An Echo-link node (currently in testing phase)
